About Us
Human Capital Portfolio Management
Cognis Lab was founded in 2015, working with organisations to develop and retain high performing teams. We work with clients on large transformation projects, including talent development, succession planning and merger integration. Our work is bespoke, designed in consultation with the business to deliver specific results.
Cognis also offers management coaching, assisting senior professionals on business development, career management, transition strategies and areas of internal and external communications.
Founding Partner
Deirdre Kenny
Deirdre Kenny has over 28 years of experience working with management teams with a focus on global talent management to effect change programmes. As both a consultant and a member of the leadership team in a professional services firm, Deirdre has built successful businesses in Europe, APAC and the United States.
Prior to founding Cognis Lab, Deirdre served as Chief Operating Officer for CTPartners, a global executive search firm. Globally, CTPartners grew significantly in this period, to annual revenue of over $160 million and 650 colleagues. Deirdre held multiple management roles concurrently at CTPartners, including Managing Partner for London, regional Managing Partner for APAC and a member of the Executive Committee of the firm.
Deirdre began her search career with a leading financial services boutique firm which was later acquired by one of the top five global retained search companies, Heidrick & Struggles. While at Heidrick, Deirdre moved from NY to Hong Kong, to rebuild the Greater China FS practice. Deirdre worked with global and local clients across the APAC market, leading to her appointment as Head of Financial Services for the region.
Previously, Deirdre worked for Institutional Investor, leading the client coverage team working with
Tier 1 investment management firms.
